This month (July), OSC’s recent work on porpoises and offshore installations was covered in an article by Mark Rowe in the BBC Wildlife Magazine entitled ‘Rigs-to-Reefs could help British wildlife‘. OSC’s Victoria Todd gave an in-depth interview about their work which has sparked debate about whether offshore installations should be left /in situ/ following de-commissioning. OSPAR are taking into account OSC’s findings in their 2010 report on rig-decommissioning in the North Sea.
