Contractual requirement: MMO & PAM Handbook reference

On repeated requests from clients to deliver a standard of service that is consistent with our MMO & PAM Handbook, OSC now has a contractual requirement for its personnel to read this reference in full prior to field work. OSC only receives 40p per copy sold, so profit is not an ulterior motive, and this voluntary-written and peer-reviewed reference is supported widely by industry, regulators, scientific community, etc. Standards vary considerably in this industry, which is primarily what our clients and this new contractual requirement aim to address. On numerous occasions, OSC’s clients have now drafted relevant contractual terms and conditions based on the contents of the Handbook, and many client representatives are well-versed with this reference, so all OSC representatives must conform.
