OSC Directors are currently in the Hague and have just secured funding to undertake a further field study on porpoise acoustics around an offshore drilling rig and production platform complex. OSC’s Directors, Dr Victoria Todd and Ian Todd, gave several presentations to firms who have shown interest in OSC’s research, spanning nearly a decade. Dr Todd said, “In concert with our team’s dedication and track record in this field, we have developed and refined a unique skill set for porpoise research around offshore installations, so OSC is the clear choice”. Consequently, some of the OSC team are preparing equipment and will be spending Christmas offshore aboard offshore installations.
