As Dunbar SciFest approaches, preparations are well underway for our stall ‘Whales, dolphins, porpoise & man-made sound’. It is set to be a great event, for which we have plenty planned. Amongst life sized models of harbour porpoise, whale sound clips, quizzes and information for all ages, our Managing Director is going to be doing a talk entitled ‘Offshore rigs as dinner gongs for porpoises’, where she will discuss some of our most exciting research. In other news, work is continuing on the new premises as we start to repair and rebuild one of the old walls and our vessel is getting some much needed TLC at the shipping yard.
