“Ever since I was a kid I felt like a fish out of water. I was raised in the Brazilian countryside, surrounded by farms and far from the ocean, but every summer when I visited my grandparents, I felt a special connection to the sea.

I could spend hours sitting, watching the boats and fishermen, wishing I could be part of that world. That feeling never went away. It grew into a passion for marine life and the offshore world, eventually leading me to leave home and pursue a degree in Oceanography, despite all the changes and challenges along the way.

Today, I feel very fortunate to have turned that passion into a career. Working offshore allows me to do what I love while contributing to projects in different parts of the world and meeting talented, passionate people from many different places.”
